Certified — and checkable
Certificates get named a lot in this industry. This page says which ones apply, what each one actually covers, and how to verify it independently rather than taking our word for it.
The certificate we hold
One certification is claimed. Anything else a project needs is confirmed against your specification rather than listed here as a badge.
| Certificate | Reference | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| FSC | Certificate available on request | Traceability of paper and board through the supply chain to the finished box. It covers the sourcing of the board and is not a statement about ink, lamination or finishing. |
| Other documentation | On request | Where a destination market or a specific material requires further documentation, we confirm what applies to your order before production rather than after. |
How to check, properly
A certificate image proves very little — a logo can be placed on a page by anyone. These two checks are worth running on us and on any other supplier you shortlist.
- FSC.Licence codes are publicly searchable in the FSC’s own certificate database. Ask for the code and confirm the holder, the scope and the expiry date there — not on a copy the supplier sends you.
- Any other certificate.Ask for the PDF and check the certificate number against the issuing body’s own register rather than the document itself.
- Ask before the order. Documentation should not depend on a purchase order being in place first.
What we are not claiming
FSC certification does not automatically make every box we ship an FSC-labelled product. Using the FSC mark on your packaging requires certified material to be specified for your order, and label use has its own rules.
If your brand needs the on-pack mark, say so at quotation stage so the material and the label permissions are scoped for your order. It is better to settle this early than to discover it at artwork approval.
Equally, nothing on this site quantifies a claim we have not been given — no saving, no response time, no certification beyond the one above. Where a figure is missing it is because it has not been confirmed, not because it was left out.
Asked most often by procurement
If your question is not here, put it in a message to yong@100yd.com.cn and it will be answered with the documentation.
Yes. Ask and the certificate documentation is sent before any purchase order exists — procurement teams normally need it for internal approval first.
Not automatically. Chain of custody covers the sourcing of the board, not every box that leaves the plant. If your packaging needs the on-pack FSC mark, say so at quotation stage so the certified material and the label permissions are scoped for your order.
Material requirements differ by destination. Tell us the destination market and what goes inside the box, and we will confirm which documentation applies to your specification.
Direct food contact is a separate specification from a standard gift box — it depends on the board, coating and any liner used. If your box holds unwrapped food, flag it at enquiry so the structure is quoted for it rather than adapted afterwards.
Send us the brief. We will price it.
Tell us what you are packing, how many, and where it is going. You will get a quote and a structural recommendation back.
